As Christians, we simply cannot ignore the plight of the working poor in America. We simply cannot ignore the struggle of those who are paid wages that do not allow them to lead decent lives and we cannot be silent about the fact that there are those who work, but are not paid for the work they have done. Our understanding of Jesus' Good News compels us to respond to these issues boldly. Today, Rev. Bill focuses upon the prophetic words of Isaiah 65:17-25 to remind us all that Labor Day weekend must mean more to us than simply another barbeque at the end of summer!
